Later his daughter, June Smith, and her husband, Douglas King Sr., took over the business.  Douglas King Sr. went on to become president of the Canadian Monument Association for many years. 

Today, after three generations, Doug King Jr. has retired, and the Company has changed hands. The present owner is now Andrew Latyshko, who will be continuing to supply the same quality and craftsmanship that Smith Monument is renowned for.

Smith Monument is proud of it's quality craftsmanship.  Most of our 15 exceptionally trained craftsmen have had 10 - 20 years experience with our company and take great care to produce your memorial to the highest standards of quality.  That is over 300 years of experience.
